To keep nutrition details accurate, the module automatically looks up nutrition data for each food item by searching Open Food Facts and USDA FoodData Central.
The Nutrition Module also includes AI-Powered Recipes, which generate nutritious meal plans from a food bank's current inventory. Each meal plan includes nutritional facts, can be exported to PDF, and supports one-click basket creation, turning available food into practical, ready-to-share meal ideas. It is a simple way to help neighbors make the most of every item they take home.
The module is Medically Tailored Groceries (MTGs) ready, with support for USDA standards that help food banks serve neighbors living with chronic conditions and prepare for healthcare partnerships.
